This notice supplements our Privacy Policy and applies to residents of the State of California, in accordance with the California Consumer Privacy Act ("CCPA") as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act ("CPRA").

4.2 Sources of Personal Information

• Directly from you (registration, assessment, communications);
• Automatically from your device (cookies, server logs);
• From service providers (payment confirmation from Stripe).

4.3 Purposes for Which We Use Personal Information

• Providing and improving the Service;
• Processing payments;
• Communicating with you;
• Personalizing your experience;
• Security and fraud prevention;
• Legal compliance.

4.4 Sharing of Personal Information

In the past twelve (12) months, we have shared personal information with service providers (Stripe, Resend, Supabase, Cloudflare, Lovable) for business purposes only, under contractual restrictions consistent with CCPA/CPRA.

We have not sold or shared personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising purposes, as those terms are defined under CCPA/CPRA, and we do not intend to do so.

4.5 Sensitive Personal Information

We process sensitive personal information (sexual orientation, sexual practices) only with your explicit consent, only for the purpose of personalizing your experience within the Service, and never for cross-context behavioral advertising.

You have the right to limit the use of your sensitive personal information to the purposes strictly necessary to provide the Service. To exercise this right, write to info@submitlife.com.

4.6 Your Rights as a California Resident

You have the right to:

• Know: request disclosure of the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you;
• Delete: request deletion of your personal information, subject to legal exceptions;
• Correct: request correction of inaccurate personal information;
• Opt out: opt out of any sale or sharing for behavioral advertising (not currently applicable to us);
• Limit use of sensitive PI: as described in Section 4.5;
• Non-discrimination: not be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights.

4.7 How to Exercise Your Rights

Include in your request:

• Your account email;
• Confirmation that you are a California resident;
• A description of the right you wish to exercise.

We will respond within forty-five (45) days. If we need more time (up to a total of ninety days), we will inform you of the reason and the extension period.

You may also designate an authorized agent to make requests on your behalf, in accordance with CCPA requirements.

4.8 Verification

For requests involving disclosure or deletion of personal information, we will require you to verify your identity, typically by confirming your account credentials and matching identifiers in our records.

4.9 Retention

We retain personal information for the periods described in our Privacy Policy (Section 2.8). California residents may request deletion at any time, subject to legal retention obligations.
