Terms of Service
Last updated : June 17, 2026
Effective Date: December 17, 2026
1.1 Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User", "you") and APOTHEOSIS SNC, a Belgian limited partnership operating submitlife.com ("SubmitLife", "we", "us", "our"). Full legal address and registration details are available on our Legal Notice page.
By accessing or using submitlife.com (the "Website") or any service provided thereon (the "Service"), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.
1.2 Eligibility and Age Restriction
The Service is strictly reserved for adults aged eighteen (18) years or older. By accessing the Website, you represent and warrant that:
(a) you are at least eighteen (18) years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction of residence, whichever is greater;
(b) you have the full legal capacity to enter into this agreement;
(c) you are not located in a jurisdiction where access to adult content of the nature provided by SubmitLife is prohibited by law;
(d) you are not accessing the Service from a public or shared device where minors may have access.
We reserve the right to terminate any account, without refund, upon discovery that the account holder is below the required age, or has falsified information regarding age or jurisdiction.
1.3 Nature of the Service
SubmitLife provides a private, members-only educational platform focused on consensual BDSM practices, female-led dynamics, dominant/submissive relationships, fictional erotic literature, and personal discipline protocols. The Service includes, but is not limited to:
(a) personalized assessment questionnaires and progression tracking; (b) written guides, essays, and reflective content; (c) fictional erotic stories of literary nature; (d) daily and weekly challenges of a non-physical, reflective nature; (e) a subscription-based members area; (f) optional digital products available for one-time purchase.
The Service is entirely virtual. No physical meetings, in-person sessions, or real-world contact are offered or facilitated through SubmitLife. Any user attempting to use the Service to organize in-person encounters is in violation of these Terms.
1.4 Account Registration
To access certain features, you must create an account. You agree to:
(a) provide accurate, current, and complete information; (b) maintain the confidentiality of your credentials; (c) accept responsibility for all activities under your account; (d) notify us immediately of any unauthorized use; (e) use only one account per individual.
You may use a pseudonym instead of your legal name for display purposes within the platform.
We reserve the right to refuse, suspend, or terminate any account that we determine, in our reasonable discretion, has violated these Terms, applicable law, or the integrity of the Service.
1.5 Subscriptions and Payments
1.5.1 Subscription Plans
SubmitLife offers several subscription formulas, the prices and features of which are listed on the Website. Subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly, quarterly, or annually, depending on the plan selected) and renew automatically until cancelled by you.
1.5.2 Payment Processor
All payments are processed by Stripe, Inc., subject to Stripe's own terms and privacy policy. SubmitLife does not directly receive, store, or process your full payment card information. We receive only confirmation of payment and tokenized references.
1.5.3 Billing Descriptor
Charges on your bank or card statement will appear under a discreet descriptor that does not explicitly identify the nature of the Service. The exact descriptor is communicated to you at the time of purchase.
1.5.4 Cancellation and Refunds
You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You retain access to the Service until that date.
In accordance with applicable EU consumer protection law (Directive 2011/83/EU, transposed into Belgian Code de droit économique, Book VI), digital content delivered immediately upon purchase is not subject to the standard 14-day right of withdrawal, provided that you have expressly consented to immediate delivery and acknowledged the loss of the right of withdrawal. By initiating your subscription or purchase, you provide such consent.
Notwithstanding the above, we may, at our sole discretion, grant goodwill refunds in cases of demonstrable technical failure preventing access to the Service. Requests should be addressed to [REFUND EMAIL ADDRESS].
1.5.5 Failed Payments
If a recurring payment fails, we may suspend access to the Service until payment is successfully completed. After three (3) failed attempts, the subscription will be terminated automatically.
1.5.6 Price Changes
We reserve the right to modify subscription prices at any time. Existing subscribers will be notified at least thirty (30) days in advance of any price increase affecting their plan, and may cancel before the new rate takes effect.
Users on a "Founder" or "Early Adopter" plan are exempt from price increases for as long as their subscription remains continuously active.
1.6 Digital Products and One-Time Purchases
Certain digital products (including but not limited to individual stories and story packs) are available for one-time purchase. Once purchased, these products are accessible from your account library for the duration of your account, subject to these Terms.
Digital products are licensed, not sold. You receive a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to access and read the content for your private, non-commercial use only.
1.7 Acceptable Use and Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to:
(a) reproduce, distribute, publicly display, modify, create derivative works of, or sell any content provided through the Service;
(b) share your account credentials with any third party;
(c) attempt to access content not licensed to your account;
(d) reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from any part of the Service;
(e) use the Service to harass, threaten, defame, or otherwise harm any person;
(f) upload or transmit content that is unlawful, including content that depicts minors, non-consenting individuals, or any sexual content involving any person who has not explicitly consented;
(g) attempt to use the Service to solicit, arrange, or conduct in-person meetings with the platform's staff or any other user;
(h) impersonate any person, including SubmitLife staff or Mistress Amelia / Madame A. herself;
(i) circumvent any technical or access-control measures of the Service;
(j) use any automated means (bots, scrapers, crawlers) to access the Service without prior written authorization;
(k) violate any applicable law, regulation, or third-party right in connection with your use of the Service.
Violation of any of the above may result in immediate account termination without refund, and may give rise to legal action.
1.8 Content of the Service — Consensual BDSM and Fictional Stories
All content provided through SubmitLife is intended for educational and entertainment purposes within a framework of informed adult consent. The content reflects practices, relationships, and dynamics that, when conducted in real life, must always be:
(a) between consenting adults; (b) based on informed consent that can be withdrawn at any time; (c) safe, in respect of physical and psychological wellbeing; (d) consistent with applicable law in the participants' jurisdiction.
The fictional stories published on the Service are works of imagination. All characters, situations, places, and events are fictional. Any resemblance to real persons, living or deceased, is coincidental, unless expressly identified as autobiographical or testimonial. The publication of a fictional scenario does not constitute encouragement, instruction, or endorsement to reproduce that scenario in real life.
SubmitLife does not provide medical, psychological, or therapeutic advice. Content describing emotional, psychological, or relational dynamics is offered for reflection and personal exploration, not as a substitute for professional consultation.
If you have personal mental health concerns, are in a vulnerable emotional state, or are subject to addictive or harmful behaviors, we strongly encourage you to consult a qualified professional before engaging with content of a BDSM nature.
1.9 Intellectual Property
All content, design, software, text, graphics, and trademarks displayed on the Website are owned by APOTHEOSIS SNC or its licensors, and are protected by international intellectual property law.
No license is granted to you except as expressly stated in these Terms. You may not use the SubmitLife name, logo, or any other distinctive sign without prior written consent.
User-submitted content (such as written reports, journal entries, or testimonials) remains the property of the user, but by submitting it you grant SubmitLife a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to use, display, and reproduce that content within the Service, in anonymized or pseudonymized form, for the purposes of operating and promoting the Service.
You retain the right to request deletion of your user-submitted content at any time by writing to info@submitlife.com.
1.10 Third-Party Services and Links
The Service may contain links to third-party websites or services (including but not limited to Stripe, Resend, and certain external content platforms). SubmitLife is not responsible for the content, practices, or policies of these third parties.
1.11 Disclaimer of Warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that any content will meet your expectations.
1.12 Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SubmitLife and APOTHEOSIS SNC, including their officers, employees, and affiliates, shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising out of or in connection with your use of, or inability to use, the Service.
In no event shall our aggregate liability exceed the total amount you have paid to SubmitLife in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable mandatory law, including liability for gross negligence, willful misconduct, or death or personal injury caused by negligence.
1.13 Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless SubmitLife and APOTHEOSIS SNC from any claim, loss, liability, or expense (including reasonable attorney fees) arising out of:
(a) your violation of these Terms; (b) your violation of any law or third-party right; (c) your misuse of the Service; (d) any content you submit to the Service.
1.14 Termination
You may terminate your account at any time. We may terminate or suspend your access without notice if you breach these Terms, engage in conduct harmful to other users or to SubmitLife, or if required by law.
Upon termination, your right to access the Service ceases immediately. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, limitation of liability, indemnification, and dispute resolution) shall survive.
1.15 Modifications
We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be notified to active users at least thirty (30) days in advance, by email or through a prominent notice on the Website. Continued use of the Service after the effective date of modifications constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
1.16 Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by Belgian law, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Nivelles, Belgium, except where mandatory consumer protection law of your country of residence gives you the right to bring proceedings in your local courts.
For users residing in the United States, disputes may alternatively be resolved through binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association in accordance with its Commercial Arbitration Rules. Class actions are waived to the extent permitted by law.
