DMCA Policy

SubmitLife respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users to do the same. This policy describes how we handle claims of copyright infringement under the United States Digital Millennium Copyright Act ("DMCA"), 17 U.S.C. § 512.
5.1 Reporting Alleged Infringement
If you believe that content available through the Service infringes your copyright, please send a written notice to our designated DMCA agent that includes the following:

A physical or electronic signature of the person authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner;

Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed, or a representative list if multiple works are involved;

Identification of the material claimed to be infringing, including a URL or other location sufficient to allow us to locate the material;

Your contact information, including name, address, telephone number, and email;

A statement that you have a good-faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law;

A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
5.2 DMCA Agent

5.3 Action Upon Receipt
Upon receipt of a notice that substantially complies with the DMCA, we will:
- Promptly remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing material;
- Notify the user who posted the material (if applicable);
- Take any other action we deem appropriate.
5.4 Counter-Notification
If you believe that material you posted has been removed in error, you may submit a counter-notification to our DMCA agent containing:
- Your physical or electronic signature;
- Identification of the material removed and its previous location;
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief that the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification;
- Your name, address, telephone number, and consent to jurisdiction.
Upon receipt of a valid counter-notification, we may restore the material in accordance with DMCA procedures.
5.5 Repeat Infringers
We will terminate, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts of users who are determined to be repeat infringers.
5.6 Misrepresentation
Submitting a false DMCA notice or counter-notification may subject the submitter to liability for damages under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f).
